(Classes for children 4 and under)

During our parent-child classes, parents engage in home-like activities or make simple crafts while their children help them or play nearby. Children play with simple, natural toys and materials, may assist in bread making, and are guided through the morning by the gentle rhythm of creative play, snack preparation, snack and circle time. Circle time reflects the world of nature, meaningful work, and seasonal festivals. It provides a rich learning experience through music and rhyme. The lap games and movements engage large and fine motor coordination. These activities nourish the child's imagination and provide rich material for creative play.

Parents find the rhythm, materials and social setting nourishing and supportive. The morning time concludes with outside play, which offers opportunities for imaginative play, nature exploration, yard work and gardening.

Fee: $175 for first child; $100 for each additional child

*Siblings under 6 months attend free of charge
